politicsBarack Attacks The ContractI used to think Liberals were just Socialists Lite, but after further consideration I have noticed an alarming pattern. We conservatives talk about the "rule of law" and how often Liberals seek to trash it but I think it goes deeper than that. America has as one of its core principles, the concept of personal contract. That is; when two or more parties make a deal, they do so by contract, be it written or verbal. We enter into contracts trusting the terms will be upheld. Liberals are doing all they can to undo the contractual core of America. They do this by telling at least one party of a contract that they no longer need to honor the contract. We see this in the "Bail Outs" in how the government shafted the Loan Institutions/Banks. We see this in how Obama is trying to tell people they won't have to pay back their college loans. We see this in how the government is telling banks they have to allow people to break their mortgage contracts. We see this in how unions always want to renegotiate their contracts. We see this even in sports where one side doesn't want to honor the contract. We see this in how Liberals want to renegotiate the terms of the primary contract -- THE CONSTITUTION.
Why America Is Losing the War On TerrorWhat people don't often realize in our emasculated, politically correct world is that after America won World War 2, we temporarily outlawed Shintoism in Japan and permanently outlawed Nazism in Germany. Why didn't we at least make sure after winning the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that Islam was not part of the government system? Instead, we allowed the seeds of terrorism and Al Qaeda to embed in the very government and societal structure of those two countries. Now, with the so-called "Arab Spring", which has been removing singular dictators but replacing them with radicalized Islamists, we are being told by our American leaders that this is a foreign policy win. Really? A President with a good sense of humor???
The First Black AMERICAN President: Herman CainHello, Isn't it time to elect someone who see people as people first, then Americans then somewhere down the line, acknowledges their race? Obama and the Democrats have been using black Americans for years. Did you know that the first black American politicians were mostly Republicans. See this list: Social Security and ChristianitySince the 2011-2012 Republican presidential campaign is high-lighting America's Social Security system, I thought it fitting to address the issue from a Christian perspective. In the debate, Texas governor Rick Perry has called Social Security "a ponzi scheme". Contender, Governor Mitt Romney and the other Republican candidates have taken Perry to task saying among other things; "Our nominee has to be someone who is not committed to abolishing Social Security but who is committed to saving Social Security". Here's the problem before we get into the biblical issues; the candidates are telling us we need to stop "Obamacare" before it becomes a fixture and cannot be undone, yet at the same time, we're being told that we can't touch Social Security because it has been around for over 70 years. See the inconsistency with their arguments?
Women In State PoliticsA local television station announced a report on the lack of women in state politics. I immediately thought, here we go again. Let me be the person to say this plainly. Why are so many people worried about the color of someone's skin or their gender? I mean, let's face it, Barack Obama was mainly elected simply because people wanted to be part of the "historic moment" of the first black president (even though he is really only "half-black"). They didn't really care about what he believes or his qualifications for the job. It seems the same with this "women in State politics" issue. It seems some people simply want ANY woman to be elected. I want to see PEOPLE elected -- who cares about their color or gender. I want to see people who have American principles, such as free-market mentality, capitalism, and self-reliance, not socialists who tell us they want to "redistribute [other people's] wealth".
Egyptian Revolution: Sign of the World Changing?
Young, college educated adults no longer want to live in the 7th-century. However, this doesn't mean they want to toss Islam, only that they want to be able to be human before being identified by a religion. I Want Your Money -- The MovieAs the 2010 elections near, there is concern if the blatant socialism of Obama and the Democrats can be stopped and reversed. As Christians, what is our role? Of course Christians aren't looking for a political answer, but shouldn't Christians be concerned when a politic environment is created where fellow humans suffer more than need be? (such as the first 2 years of Obama's socialistic dream) I saw an interesting trailer for a movie called "I WANT YOUR MONEY" Campaign GameThis game is hilarious, but I couldn't bring myself to play the Obama team.
The Cordoba Initiative: First Step, InfiltrationBarack Obama made the following statement:
Perhaps at face value and after decades of liberals trying to tell us the United States of America wasn't built on Christian values, Obama's stand sounds simply like a man defending the rights of his fellow Americans. But upon further consideration, we should look at the contrast of Obama telling Israel that they shouldn't build more settlements in their own territory because it would be insensitive to the surrounding Muslims.
