Edwards/Talbot Debate Rescheduled

You may have heard that there was a debate set up between Roderick Edwards and Kenneth Talbot that was supposedly going to take place in Chicago. (ref) Well, this debate has been rescheduled as follows:

AFFIRMATION OF CHRISTIANITY
Roderick Edwards, Christian since 1984 and saved even while having fallen for a time into the heresy of Hyperpreterismi, Edwards will affirm that Christianity is of God and is the "religion" of the Bible as taught and revealed by Jesus Christ and His hand-picked apostles.

REJECTION OF CHRISTIANITY AND AFFIRMATION OF MORMONISM
Kenneth Talbot, Seminary president who allows known heretics to edit otherwise supposedly "Christian" material (ref - See Sam Frost's bio), Talbot will deny Christianity and instead advocate the Book of Mormon as being a supplement to the Bible and Joseph Smith jr. as a true prophet.

In addition to the main debate, Roderick Edwards will also debate two of Talbot's proxies with the following participants and topics.

Now, let it be known, that like the original debate, none of the above debates will EVER happen and were NEVER scheduled. The named participants NEVER agreed to such debates just like I NEVER agreed to the one Talbot and his proxies have been falsely posting on their websites. And just like Talbot doesn't affirm Mormonism, nor Jospeh Smith jr. as a true prophet, nor does PaulT affirm Islam, nor Phil Naessen affirm atheism NOR DO I AFFIRM THE THINGS TALBOT AND HIS PROXIES ASSIGNED TO ME.

My position has NEVER been one from "Sola Ecclesia".

However, when Talbot's proxy, PaulT emailed me over and over trying to get me to debate Talbot, I repeatedly pointed PaulT back to the debate between Talbot and I that was incomplete. SEE LINK. Talbot started that debate on the site of yet another one of his proxies, Sharon Nichols. When I began to engage Talbot line-per-line, Nichols in an attempt to protect Talbot from embarrassment ended the debate and as far as I know deleted it. But the reader can examine the full debate at THIS LINK.

If Talbot would like to resume where we left off, I'd be more than happy. Until then, Mr. Talbot please stop sending your proxies out to speak on your behalf and please stop allowing them and you participating in out and out fabrications such as the fake debate you announced. I don't think this is a very fitting behavior for someone who is supposed to be an elder and a seminary president.

If you are a friend or peer of Ken Talbot, you might want to counsel him that he needs to stop with this kind of behavior and maybe rethink his associations. -- 1 Corinthians 15:33
