The Kingdom Come

Ok time for more random stuff as a blog entry.  I was recently invited to try out Google Voice. It is an integration of telephonics & the Internet. (see video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4Q9MJdT5Ds)  Basically, what it does is allow you to have one number that you can use to ring any other phone AND it will record voice mail messages as audio & text transcript.  I'm still trying it out but so far I like it.

The next item in this random blog posting is that my daughter recently turned 16 years old.  She has been a wonderful blesing so far ;-)  She has been an A's & B's student in school since kindergarten.  She hasn't been into drugs, drinking, smoking, or crimes.  I constantly remind her that mine & her mother's job is to prepare her to be independent...well that speech usually comes after she uses the typical "I'll be 18 soon" line. We bought her a car & she just passed the learners permit test, so I'll be teaching her to drive (hint: stay off the Indianapolis roadway ;-) )  Anyhow, this is a proud milestone for our family.

The last topic of this entry is the future -- the future projects I plan to pursue.  I'm thinking about starting up a garden shop in about two years to which I will devote most of my time so, between now & then I want to get in as much writing here as possible.  As readers may know, I am working on a verse-by-verse Bible commentary (see here) so that will take up a lot of that 2 years.  I also want to wrap up my involvement with fighting the heresy of hyperpreterismⁱ, perhaps by 2010 (see here). That might conclude in a book on the issue.  Anyhow, more & more people are becoming aware of this heresy so it won't be able to spread virtually unopposed as it did back in the 1990s.

Another thing in the future is that I might get into producing some original music & presentation videos...again maybe a year or so down the road.
