Well, here's another one of my hodge-podge updates. Here are the topics in case you are interested in any of them or just want to skip over this post.

FORD -- A REAL American company

We all have heard that GM & Chrysler are being bailed out by the U.S. Government but did you know that Ford refused the bail out money? I admire this. Ford is living up to the good ole American spirit of responsibility. My next vehicle will be a Ford if they stay the course. (see more here)
World Almanac Classifies JWs & Mormons as "Christian"
I was reading through the 2005 World Almanac & came across the Major Christian Denominations section. Within these pages was listed as a Christian Denomination, the Jehovah's Witnesses & the Mormons. This should make a person consider the validity of other "facts" within the World Almanac.
I wonder if anyone has challenged this entry? This is sigificant because what the JWs & Mormons gained in this entry is exactly what hyperpreterists someday hope to gain -- to be legitimized in some official capacity as being "Christian".
Files Over Miles (Peer-to-Peer File sharing)
Ok, this is going to be a bit geeky but bear with me. Files Over Miles is cool. What it does is allow you to share files with someone over the Internet. For example, suppose you have a large file that won't send via email. You can go to this FilesOverMiles FREE website & upload your file to the Internet (technically to a computer elsewhere) & then as long as you have your browser (Internet window) open, another person can click a link & download your file. Once you close your browser, the link becomes disabled. It is called "peer-to-peer" because you will be interacting directly with another person (peer). There are programs like AIM Pro that do something like this but it requires both users have AIM Pro installed on their computer. FilesOverMiles has no software you have to download. A person can use any browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Crome & others) & access the site to download the file.
